NYSC RESPONDS TO KEMI ADEOSUN’S ALLEGED FORGERY.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a statement on the alleged forgery of an exemption certificate by Mrs Kemi Adeosun, Nigeria’s Minister of Finance.
An online platform Premium Times have accused the Finance Minister of forging an NYSC exemption certificate to cover up for her inability to be part of the mandatory National Youth Service Scheme, an allegation neither the Presidency or the Minister has responded to.
Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu when asked about the stand of the Presidency on the matter, replied that he had not been briefed about it.

RE-EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE OF THE HON. MINISTER OF FINANCE, MRS. KEMI ADEOSUN.
Our attention has been drawn to the issue of the alleged forgery of an NYSC Exemption Certificate by the Honorable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.
Checking our records, Mrs. Adeosun did apply for an Exemption Certificate.
We shall investigate the origin of the purported Exemption Certificate in question.
